The Sango GP Invitational is an annual invitation-only event hosted by Sango Capital and bringing together partners from private equity firms and non-fund investors focused on the African mid-market. The aim of the event is to facilitate peer to peer networking and knowledge sharing among African GPs with a view to lifting the bar on institutionalisation and performance in line with global best practice. 

 

The format of the event is a semi-formal closed-door session featuring topical discussions and panels by African GPs, global investors and other GPs from the US and other markets sharing perspectives on pertinent issues to the private equity industry. An informal networking event prior to, and a formal dinner after the main conference usually at iconic venues form the basis of a highly effective relationship and networking building event out of which much business has been done by African partners over the years.
