Nick Dennis

Nick joined the Sango investment team as an operating partner in June 2017. Nick brings 40 years of experience as a distinguished business leader in South Africa and Europe. He provides advice on post-investment value creation, supports the functions of reviewing, performing due diligence, negotiating and closing private equity investment opportunities and serves as a non-executive director on the boards of Sango portfolio companies. Prior to joining Sango, Nick was a founding partner and CEO of Loadstone Brands, a fast-moving consumer goods investment holding platform backed by Standard Chartered Private Equity.

 

Prior to Lodestone, he was the CEO of Tiger Brands Limited, a JSE listed company and the largest independent consumer goods company (food, pharmaceuticals, household products, personal care and baby care products) in Africa. Nick has held various senior executive roles at Barlow Rand, a large conglomerate, and at Colgate Palmolive where he started his career.
